Playin' Ketchup

Ok I haven't posted on here in a hot second. A lot has gone on since last we met. On May 25th, I opened for Kristoff Krane, Sadistik, Bodi and Ordeal on the Never-Ending Gun Show Tour at Reggie's Rock Club. Space Case had DJ duties while Patron held down some hand percussion. Ordeal even came up and rocked the mic with us at one point. The show was awesome. Not a huge turn-out, but a great and intimate show nonetheless. Everybody put on a great show, straight up.

The next day I rolled with the Gun Show gang (including Brady O) to Iowa City, where the homie Ion opened for the tour. The show was excellent. Afterward there was a big ass freestyle session at the mercy table over the dubstep music being played. After we all left we went to kick it at Trina's crib. Trina is the shit.

That Saturday, myself and my verbal associate, Milky Way headed up to Minnesota with our friend Victoria (thanks for offering your vehicle boo boo). We caught another edition of the Gun Show (still pissed we missed Ordeal's set). After Kristoff, another freestyle session went down, this time with a live band. Shit was hot. When everything was finished, we met Orion and his wife Triana, who invited us to stay with them and friend the Mammoth in St. Paul. Did I mention Orion has a studio in their basement.

The next morning we went to Soundset and it was an incredible, beautiful event. All I can say is Face Candy.

The following evening, myself and Milky hopped the Amtrak back to Chicago where we spent six days writing and recording an EP, which is available now at the Neat Monsters Bandcamp page

Also in the last week, I found out I'll be going on tour on the west coast for three weeks with Engineers in Your Ear, Bodi and Doctype. July 22-August 6 starting in Arizona and ending in Colorado. If you would like to help, you can visit my Kickstarter page.

There's a lot to come so stay tuned in. Take care all.
